Since declaring a Climate and Environment Emergency, cross-party and cross departmental working groups in the council have been bringing together evidence from internal and external sources on which to build the Council’s strategy and action plan. We have worked to build a strategy that we want to be both ambitious and achievable, that will create a pathway for the Council and its collaborations with partners and Cambridgeshire communities to reach net-zero carbon by 2050. We have identified priority areas to focus our efforts in the Council as well as those areas that we need to work in partnership plus targets to measure success and actions to get us there.

This is where we need you – to help us shape and develop our targets and actions to best reflect the ambition of Cambridgeshire communities, and not just the council.
