What are we proposing?

The Comberton Greenway will connect Cambridge, Coton, Hardwick and Comberton. The proposals for Hardwick village were added to the Comberton Greenway scheme following engagement undertaken in 2022.

We now want to understand your views on our proposals for Hardwick, and to use this feedback to decide our next steps.

Our proposals for Hardwick village include a safer, 20mph speed limit and changes to junctions, including:

  • Widening pavements where possible.
  • Providing crossing points for people walking.
  • Traffic-calming measures at key points in the village.
  • Enhancing the landscaping with more planting.

The Comberton Greenway is one of 12 Greater Cambridge greenways, which will improve existing paths and streets for people walking, cycling and, where appropriate, horse-riding.
