This consultation has now closed – thank you for your contributions.

Our engagement period took place between 3 October and 28 October 2022.

The Melbourn Greenway will provide a safer and better route for people walking, cycling and, where appropriate, horse-riding, along the A10 corridor south of the M11 towards Royston, connecting Melbourn, Hauxton, Harston, Foxton with improved links to Shepreth and Meldreth railway stations.

The Greater Cambridge Greenways will follow off-road paths, along quiet streets or provide improved facilities along busier roads to provide more people with safer, easier and more direct routes in and out of Cambridge.

The Melbourn Greenway is one of twelve Greater Cambridge Greenways that will make journeys more sustainable, provide healthier alternatives to the car and allow people to enjoy the Cambridgeshire countryside for leisure purposes. They will also help to make local journeys, such as school and nursery runs safer and easier.
