Mill Road Consultation
In late June, Cambridgeshire County Council closed Mill Road bridge to general motor vehicle traffic excluding buses, cycles and pedestrians as part of trial measures to promote walking and cycling in the area in response to Covid-19.
These trial measures are funded by the Government's Emergency Active Travel Fund which aims to encourage a 'green recovery' from lockdown.
This trial closure is being carried out under an Experimental Traffic Regulation Order (ETRO). Information about this process is available on the County Council website.
The views and information gathered in this survey will be added to the feedback we have already received via letter and email and reported to the Highways and Transport Committee to inform their decision on the future of the road closure.
Please note that the ETRO relates only to the trial closure of the bridge. However, there is a separate question for feedback on the temporary social distancing measures known as 'build outs' currently in place along Mill Road.
