The Haslingfield Greenway is one of twelve proposed Greenways, which aim to make local walking, cycling and, where appropriate, horse riding journeys easier – connecting villages along the route to each other and Cambridge.

The feedback received from our previous consultation has informed the route alignment and shaped the proposals being presented in our accompanying brochure. We have provided this survey for you to give your views on our design proposals.

Your feedback is essential in helping us refine our designs and ensure they best suit the needs of your local community.

GCP Haslingfield Greenway Engagement 2022

We are consulting on a new road classification for Cambridge that would change the categorisation of roads in the city, and we want to hear your views to help shape it.A new road classification for the city gives us an opportunity to make a major change to the way that traffic and people use roads and streets to move around the city. Space on the roads could be freed up for more frequent and reliable public transport. It could also create a safer and more attractive environment for people walking, cycling or using other methods of active travel.There are six proposed classifications of road. Different means of transport, whether motorised or active, would have different degrees of access to these. GCP Comberton Greenway Engagement - 2022

Cambridgeshire County Council is considering a range of changes to roads across Cambridgeshire to encourage walking and cycling across the area. We invite your feedback on these initial ideas to promote active travel (cycling and walking) as people&#39;s first choice for shorter journeys.Later in the year, the new Soham rail station will open for use. As this is likely to influence travel across the town this consultation will run through to 17 January, so any concerns about additional traffic or road usage can be fed back as part of this consultation.Following this consultation, the public feedback will be analysed and reviewed by County Councillors from the Highways and Transport Committee. Soham Active Travel

This document is a revision of the previous <a href="https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/business/planning-and-development/flood-and-water/flood-risk-management" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Cambridgeshire Flood Risk Management Strategy (2015-20)</a>. Created by Cambridgeshire County Council as Lead Local Flood Authority in consultation with its partner organisations, it outlines how flood risk will be managed across Cambridgeshire between 2021 and 2027. The strategy sets out; <ul><li>Background </li><li>Local and National context </li><li>Roles and Responsibilities </li><li>An overview of risk </li><li>Funding opportunities </li><li>Management activities and Actions prioritised to manage identified risks</li></ul>The revised strategy has built in learning from recent flood events and industry developments since 2015. It looks to provide an overview of the wide range of flood related information, signposting areas you may wish to understand in more depth rather than duplicating other sources. This strategy has been produced to be consistent with other local strategies, regional Flood Risk Management Plans (FRMP) and River Basin Management Plans (RBMP) as well as needing to provide sufficient consideration of the National Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Strategy. Consultations on the proposed <a href="https://consult.environment-agency.gov.uk/fcrm/flood-risk-management-plans-information-page/consult_view/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">FRMP</a> and <a href="https://consult.environment-agency.gov.uk/environment-and-business/draft-river-basin-management-plans/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">RBMP</a> remain open online and feedback can be provided separately to the Environment Agency for those plans. Separate to the Cambridgeshire Flood Risk Management Strategy, work is under way to provide guidance and support for riparian responsibilities, this will be available on the county council website in 2022. We would welcome feedback on the strategy. The documents attached to this page can be reviewed and responses provided through the survey. The survey is divided into sections to match the strategy so feedback can be more easily targeted. A brief overview of each section and prompt questions within the survey are designed to help the reader in considering their response, however we are open to wider feedback.
