Following a period where delivery of new parking schemes in Cambridge was paused, Cambridgeshire County Council’s Highways and Transport Committee agreed at its meeting on 4 November 2021 to restart the programme and requested GCP to initiate delivery of new Resident Parking Schemes.

The scheme will be designed in line with the overall Cambridgeshire County Council Resident Parking Policy (see Important Links section for details). If adopted, this scheme may be subject to variations in line with any changes to the overall Resident Parking Policy in future. The Resident Parking Scheme covering Wilberforce has been developed in consultation with local councillors.

Resident permits are limited to three per household and per year. Visitor permits are limited to 20 per applicant (each permit allows five visits of up to one day in duration) per year. Other permits are available including business and tradespeople permits and free medical permits.
