Consultation has concluded

Cambridgeshire County Council is considering a range of changes to roads across Cambridgeshire to encourage active travel across the area. We invite your feedback on these initial ideas to promote cycling and walking as people's first choice for shorter journeys.

Following this consultation, the public feedback will be analysed and reviewed by the Chair and Vice-chair of the County Council's Highways and Transport Committee. A decision will then be made on which schemes will be taken forward for further development.

Any projects which go ahead will be subject to further stakeholder engagement and public consultation either prior to installation as part of a Traffic Regulation Order or during any trial scheme, if implemented under an Experimental Traffic Regulation Order.

A number of Active Travel Schemes for Ely, Huntingdon, Soham, St Neots, Whittlesey and Wisbech are also in development and will be subject to separate consultation. Several small scale active travel improvements are also due to take place across Cambridgeshire and will be subject to separate localised engagement.

This consultation has now closed. If you have any questions about the project please email transport.delivery@cambridgeshire.gov.uk.

Please note that this consultation aims to share the proposals identified schemes with the wider public and to gauge their support and feedback for each option. We may share your information with our consultants, our partners in this consultation and with the Council's analysis team.

You do not have to give us any personal information. We will not publish any personal details you do give us unless specifically indicated, but we may publish our response, and include it in public reports, with personal details removed. Personal data will be held securely, in accordance with data protection legislation. We will only store it for 12 months after the consultation results have been analysed and the consultation report published.

Please note that projects relating to initial ideas for Cambridge Historic Centre, Victoria Avenue, Grange Road and Sidgewick Avenue are being considered separately by the Greater Cambridge Partnership. If you have any questions on these proposals, please contact consultations@greatercambridge.org.uk.
