GCP Barton Greenway
This consultation has now closed – thank you for your contributions.
Engagement on the Barton Greenway has been extended for another two weeks: the survey will now close at midday on Friday 16 December.
The Barton Greenway will provide a safer and better route for people walking, cycling and, where appropriate, horse-riding, between Barton and Cambridge with a spur to Grantchester.
The Greater Cambridge Greenways will follow off-road paths, along quiet streets or provide improved facilities along busier roads to provide more people with safer, easier and more direct routes in and out of Cambridge.
The Barton Greenway is one of twelve Greater Cambridge Greenways that will make journeys more sustainable, provide healthier alternatives to the car and allow people to enjoy the Cambridgeshire countryside for leisure purposes. They will also help to make local journeys, such as school and nursery runs safer and easier.
Public Engagement
The feedback received from our previous consultation has informed the route alignment and shaped the proposals being presented in our accompanying brochure and drawings.
We have provided the survey below, which will be open until midday on Friday 16 December.
You can also attend our online and in person events. Find out about upcoming events in the Key Dates section and register for the Zoom event on 17th November.
